A new multiplayer network game for C64 was released!
Rogue Multiplayer is a roguelike game where all current players share one dungeon.
It supports RR-Net, FB-Net und 64NIC+.
It can also be played from a browser window.

Leif Bloomquist released his game Vortex 2 for the testing phase. This game can use the internet to play against another person. In the game you can fly with your ship and shoot at the enemy, but nothing will happen at this stage in the development of the game. The game is auto-updating. You need an RR-Net or compatible cartridge (64NIC+, FB-Net, etc) for your C64 or you can use the VICE emulator. For more informations visit his blog.

Neues aus der Szene: WIP C64-Onlinespiel Vortex 2

Leif Bloomquist hat eine Testversion seines Spiels Vortex 2 veröffentlicht. Das Spiel kann über das Internet mit, bzw. gegen andere Mitspieler gespielt werden. Im Moment kann man mit seinem Raumschiff umherfliegen und auch Feinde unter Beschuss nehmen, aber es wird nicht viel passieren, da sich das Spiel noch in einer frühen Entwicklungsstufe befindet. Das Spiel updatet sich übrigens automatisch, benötigt wird das RR-Net oder eine andere kompatible Hardware (64NIC+, FB-Net, ect.) für den C64 oder der VICE Emulator. Weitere Info’s gibt es im Blog.

Network interface card RR-Net MK3 available in the shop

The third generation of the RR-Net of individual Computers is available in our shop now.
One of the new features of the popular network adapter is that it works directly plugged into the expansion port of the C64 and need no longer additional hardware to work with. Of course, the RR-Net MK3 is compatible with the clock/module ports of other hardware, such as the MMC Replay, MMC64, Retro Replay or Nordic Replay and add the missing network features on this devices too.
Another new feature is that the card has a built in MAC-address that guaranteed the same IP address of the RR-Net MK3 in the network if the device is be allocated by a DHCP server from a router.

Netzwerkkarte RR-Net MK3 im Shop erhältlich

Die mittlerweile dritte Generation des RR-Net von individual Computers ist ab sofort in unserem Shop erhältlich.
Zu den Neuerungen des beliebten Netzwerkadapters gehört, dass er ohne zusätzliche Hardware direkt am Expansionsport des C64 betrieben werden kann. Natürlich kann das RR-Net MK3 zusätzlich an den Uhren/Modulports anderer Hardware, wie etwa dem MMC Replay, MMC64, Retro Replay oder Nordic Replay betrieben werden und rüstet dort die Netzwerkfeatures nach.
Eine weitere Neuerung ist, dass die Karte über eine fest eingebaute MAC-Adresse verfügt, somit ist eine identische IP-Adresse im Netzwerk garantiert, wenn die Geräte darin durch einen DHCP Server vom Router zugeteilt werden.
