Year 2224.

The war against the rogue AI Omega and its machine army is over, and for six years humanity has had the opportunity to rebuild in peace.

But suddenly a series of devastating long-range mass bombardment attacks occur against several colonies and space stations.

The origin of the attacks is pinpointed to the now desolate Earth and the fail-deadly defense systems left on standby.

Critical malfunction is the most logical explanation, however evidence including nanobot residue among the wreckage points to more sinister possibilities.

Whatever the cause, the United Military and their elite Rangers must shut down the systems before more attacks occur.


Steel Ranger 2 is the sequel to the side-scrolling action adventure from 2018, inspired by Turrican and Metroid.

Take on the role of the commanding Ranger on the scout ship UMS Flail. As the closest ship, the Flail is the best option for a fast response, so you and your team are assigned to land close to one of the fail-deadly defense installations and investigate.

But soon you find yourself alone, exploring the unfriendly wasteland that Earth has become and engaged in desperate combat.

Upgrade your second generation Ranger suit and weapons so that you are prepared to uncover the full truth behind the attacks ... and if at all possible, get your team and yourself out alive.
