The Joyswitcher allows you to switch the joystick ports any way you like without having to re-connect anything.
It switches both the digital signals from the joystick and the analogue signals for the mouse or paddles.
As there is no direct connection to the C64's CIAs anymore, it makes swapping joysticks risk-free while the C64 is turned on.

(Disconnecting or connecting a joystick without this device is not recommended while the C64 is turned on, it can physically damage the C64!)
