In Ausgabe 46 berichtet die RETURN zum dritten Mal in Folge über Protovision, diesmal über die beiden gemeinschaftlichen Veröffentlichungen mit Psytronik:
Das lange verschollene Run ’n‘ Gun Outrage von Cosmos Designs wurde ausführlich unter die Lupe genommen. Fazit der Reaktion: „Eine knackige Herausforderung, die trotz ihres 30 Jahre alten Designs auch heute noch Spaß macht.“ Zu der ungewöhnlichen Entstehungsgeschichte des Spiels stand Programmierer Bernd Buchegger Rede und Antwort.
Auch wurde das unterschätzte MW Ultra rezensiert. Der Test lobt u.a. die Detailverliebtheit sowie Spieltiefe und würdigt MW Ultra als eines der besten Action-Adventures für den Commodore 64.
Unser Grafiker Lobo schuf nicht nur die Print-Artworks zu Outrage und MW Ultra, auch als Pixelkünstler ist er sehr aktiv. In der Rubrik „Pixelkunst“ dieser Ausgabe können einiger seiner Werke bestaunt werden.

In issue 46, RETURN reports on Protovision for the third time in a row, this time covering the two collaborative releases with Psytronik:
Cosmos Designs‘ long-lost run ’n‘ gun Outrage was examined in detail. Staff concludes: "A tough challenge that’s still fun to play today, despite its 30-year-old design." Coder Bernd Buchegger was on hand to answer questions about the game’s unusual genesis.
The underrated MW Ultra was also reviewed. The article praises among other things the attention to detail as well as the depth of the game and appreciates MW Ultra as one of the best action adventures for the Commodore 64.
Our graphic artist Lobo not only created the print artwork for Outrage and MW Ultra, he is also very active as a pixel artist. In the "Pixel Art" section of this issue, you can admire some of his works.

The results of Indie Retro News C64 Game Awards 2020 have been published… and Protovision has taken out two of the three awards!
Award for the C64 Game of the Year went to MW ULTRA by Covert Bitops while the C64 Budget Game of the Year was awarded to Zeta Wing by Sarah Jane Avory.
