Joyride is a tool to monitor Joysticks, Mouse, Paddles among other input devices. It also supports a large number of Userport adapters, including the 4 Player Interface by Protovision / CGA. This tool has been developped by T’Pau, version 1.3 has recently been released.

NEWS FROM THE C64 SCENE: Organism & Rocky Memphis – The Legend of Atlantis released

Both of the games are rather interesting titles.

  • Organism is an atmospheric alienesque game where you have to find crew members in a massively huge space ship.
  • Rocky Memphis – The Legend of Atlantis is an action puzzler. You will have to solve dozens of small riddles to progress in the game (Joe Gunn style).

NEWS FROM THE C64 SCENE: kernal64 with gmod2 support

The C64 emulator kernal64 now supports our standard cartridge format, gmod2.

This means that Sam’s Journey and Galencia cartridges will now run with the emulator as well.

NEWS FROM THE C64 SCENE: Open Air C64 Event: ATWOODS – admission free!

On August 11th and 12th there will be an open air C64 camping party in Salzgitter, Germany. This will be more of a heart warming get together around the barbecue, than around hardware. Nevertheless, there will be a projector, a demo- and game compo and a shuttle service to the party.

A new multiplayer network game for C64 was released!
Rogue Multiplayer is a roguelike game where all current players share one dungeon.
It supports RR-Net, FB-Net und 64NIC+.

It can also be played from a browser window.

A new C64 game with an entirely unique play style has been released (as download only) by Cogitare Computing. Each of the 12 (tricky!) levels of the game are completely different. There’s a trick to every level for you to figure out. We feel that Counterweight Kate is worth every bit of it’s small price of 1 dollar.

Two great new games are now available from Psytronik for preordering, however the digital version of the games are supplied directly.

Steel Ranger is Covert BitOps‘ new shooting action game. As usual with CO, it comes with a well scripted storyline and cunning game design.


Pains’n’Aches is a sequel to Knight’n’Grail and also feels similar in gameplay. It has a minimalistic style and is story driven as well.

NEWS FROM THE C64 SCENE: RGCD released LuftrauserZ

Our friends over at RGCD have released LuftrauserZ,
Paul Koller’s latest C64 demake.

The game features quite stunning air battles with clever trickery to produce a very smooth and fast all directional scrolling and supernice generated clouds in between mischievous enemy airplanes.
